Well, I really don’t like making New Years resolutions but this year I think I am. I think I need to. I want things to change and the only way that can happen is if I start making a change. I graduated from Stony Brook and live with my best friend. I just want to feel like I have more control of the things that happen in my life and how I handle them. I need to learn when to give up and when to keep going. My new years resolution is to focus on myself and let things happen. Oh, and I finally got the Sam Edelman Zoe boots.

Kevin and I rode my newly renovated vintage bike two days ago. I bought it from a man named Don in Hampton Bays. He wasn’t selling it but he said it was my bike as soon as he saw me. Until my birthday, the tires were dry rotted and the light didn’t work. I was feeling somewhat blue and Kev showed up at my house while I was in the shower and was laying in my comforter with only his eyes peeking out. We ended up having a really good conversation and rode my bike around my street.

What’s the point?

One of my shoe shelves and these JC Pythons that I have been wearing lately. I also bought a silly cupcake book filled with puns and ridiculous pictures of cupcakes making love or solving mysteries. Nicole and I could not stop laughing at this book in Borders so I had to buy it. I started school and so far I have no major complaints, despite my horrible statistics professor. 

I said that I’m just fine.

Gregg restored my bike for my birthday! He put a card, Haribo gummy bears and chocolate covered raisins in the basket. He also bought me a new camera lens so now I can take pictures with more depth. Very happy girl.
